A Horrible Summer Is Coming

I’ve no idea how to describe today’s weather. Is it sultry? I feel a bit low blood pressure in the morning especially after I came back from the revenue. Then after a tiny nap, I have to come to EF to have a f2f class. It’s hard to walk outside and even breathe. I always hate Shanghai’s weather. In the winter it’s freezing and wet. And summer, the terrible summer can kill me. Maybe because we are near sea, so it’s wet? Dan, if you’re reading my blog, I want to tell you that the next two months will be steaming that you can’t imagine. Bless you.

I bought a small garland today which is an old Shanghai tradition accessory in the summer. I just checked the dictionary the flower is called gardenia. It’s suitable for me today since I wear in white and green. After I bought perfume, I haven’t bought these things for a long time because it’s out-of-date. I talked about fabric market with Dan today. And it reminds me the TV-show I watched last night, tailor-made clothing. I’m happy to see he wears the shirts which he bought in the fabric market. That’s the thing that my parents sometimes did many years ago. They always had a specific tailor and choose the color and the cloth. Nowadays we have no time to do that. I think the process is romantic. A good tailor especially elder tailor is a good designer as well. They chat with you and give you suggestions about the clothing. Finally, it’ll fit you not only the body but also the personality. That is our culture which is almost missing today. Anyway I’m going to the fabric market as well when I have time. Maybe I’ll buy a Chi-pao, a lovely silk Chi-pao.
